Home Furnishing

Interior Decoration with Textile Furnishings

http://www.teonline.com/articles/Interior%20Decor_Textile%20Furnishings.jpg

Interior decor, in fact, the whole interior environment of any home decides the comfort, utility of space and the level of effect on one's psyche. Home furnishings, also popular by the names textile furnishings or soft furnishings, are one of the most important component of a home's interior environment. They are flexible, they come in a variety of textures, prints, designs, patterns and fabrics. What else we need other than textile furnishings to give every corner of a home its own identity.

Interior Decoration plan

Planing of Decoration

Interior Decoration of Home Decor is the art of decorating a room in order to make it great to look at and easy to use with the existing frame of the room. The goal of the successful interior design is to give the home owner a look for the room that reflects their personality. Interior decoration uses things like paintings, paint, wall paper, light fixtures, floor plans, curtains and carpets. They base the whole design on the room itself.

Most interior decorated rooms are based on themes. Some people like Louis XV, some like the Victorian era and then there are those that like the art deco designs. Each style depends on what the home owner likes. When you hire an interior decorator, some of them charge per room. So if you are looking for multiple room, some may give you a break on the price so before you decide on one person shop around. Every interior decorator has different idea and you may find you like one designer better than the other.

When you decide to go with an interior designer, make sure that you have some idea of what you want. Some designers come in with their own ideas and they end up creating a room based on their vision not yours and then you end up hating the style and either you end up with a look you like or you end up in court. Always have a design style, if you like contemporary then look on the internet and see what different styles you like and then as you are interviewing decorators show them what you want and make sure they have the means to get you what you want.

http://www.decorating-interior.info/images/decorating2.jpg

There are so many different ways to decorate your home. If you don?t want the whole kit and caboodle then you can have some one come in a design a simple room with paint and carpeting and maybe some art for the room. You can find out exactly what services are offered and then go from there. Make sure the company you are dealing with is reputable. Ask to see some designs that have done for other people.

Once you have commissioned a interior decorator you make sure you have a contract and that the contract lists everything that you want so once the job is completed that there is no questions to what was supposed to be done. Unfortunately there are many small claims cases based on that very thing. Get everything in writing and always get a receipt. Never give cash without getting a detailed receipt for what the cash was given for.

Interior Decoration

Home Decoration,Home Design,Home Decorating Ideas:-

Interior decoration or decor is the art of decorating a room so that it is attractive, easy to use, and functions well with the existing architecture. The goal of interior decoration is to provide a certain "feel" for the room; it encompasses applying wallpaper, wall decals, painting walls and other surfaces, choosing furniture and fittings, such as light fixtures, floorplans and providing other decorations for the area such as paintings, sculptures and carpets. In some cases, interior decorating is performed professionally by certified interior decorators (C.I.D.)

Although the terms interior decorating and interior design are sometimes used interchangeably, each discipline exhibits a distinct difference in its scope. Interior decorating is generally focused on the selection and presentation of interior items within a space, such as furniture, accessories, finishes and room layout. Interior design, on the other hand, involves manipulating the architectural integrity of the interior space.

Bathroom Interior

Bathroom Interior Decorating Ideas : -

A bath room is a very important functional component of a home although it may not be very glamorous. Whether your bath room is large or small, do not forget to decorate it and keep it thoroughly clean while planning a home improvement or decoration project. Here are some useful interior decorating ideas for your bath room.

First of all, you need to attend to the faded walls. It depends on you whether you want to paint the walls or use matching wall papers. Then you need to shop for matching shower curtains, bath mats, towel basket and dustbins. Ensure that the bath mats you choose have a rubber backing to prevent skidding and accidents in the bath room. Roll up fresh and clean unused towels, and place them in matching basket.

Good lighting in very much essential inside a bath room. There must be both ambient lighting as well as task lighting for grooming. For ambient lighting you can use ceiling lights and for task lighting you need lights around your mirror which is bright enough for makeup.

A lot of people prefer placing green plants in their bath room especially on the sink counter top. You can also use silk flowers arrangements to make your bath room more appealing. Many people prefer scented candles placed all around the bath tub and over the sink counter top.

You can give a final touch to the interior decoration of your bath room by adding bathroom d?cor such as a porcelain vase or a decorative box with lids which can be used as containers for your clips, pins or a basket of decorative soaps and lotions. You can easily find such interesting objects that reflect your personality from yard sales in your locality.

Decorating Interior

Design of Design:-

Most people when they decide to decorate their bathrooms, they usually choose all new fixtures like the sink and new lighting fixtures. Or they change the faucets on the sink. Other people like to change the paint as well as the window curtains and the shower curtains to make them match. Half the population is divided on whether or not they should have a light color bathroom or a dark color. It is hard to choose because in the winter you want a warm color for the bathroom so the room seems warmer in the winter and in the summer you want light colors because it makes the room brighter.

http://www.decorating-interior.info/images/decorating3.jpg

You can either choose one way or the other or some people actually change their colors every season. What you can do is paint the bathroom a shade of white or a blue shade is nice and then decorate your bathroom with either dark or light color curtains for the windows and shower curtains. This way for every season instead of changing the paint simply change the decorations. It will save you money as well as time and you get the look for each season.

You may want to change the lighting fixtures or even a vanity change can improve the look of the room. You can choose from Victorian, Modern, Contemporary or 18th Century. Maybe instead of paint you want wallpaper, that can change the whole dynamic. Wall paper can make a room look bigger or smaller. So you have to be careful what style you choose

Unique and Colorful Paint

We've been seeing tons of color this month for Apartment Therapy's Fall Colors Contest. We love how using bold colors can highlight any aspect of a room, almost working as a frame for your furniture. So you can imagine our delight when we saw this teal bathroom pictured above. We never would have thought to paint a skewed semi-circle on a wall and are really enjoying this new inspiration from LA Design team Todd Nickey and Amy Kehoe. Check out more inspirational paint jobs after the jump.

Rulers, painters tape and a whole lotta patience go into creating these one-of-a-kind inspirational rooms. We absolutely love how the paint is being used to frame each room so you're noticing the color and the design at the same time. Definitely an option for those of you who are afraid to use bold colors in your space.

Colorful Paint Ideas for a Bedroom

Painting the bedroom with bright colors makes for a vibrant retreat in the home. Use these cheerful hues by themselves, paired with neutral tones, and with pastels.

- Warm Color Combos
Bright hues work in the room when paired with neutral or cool colors.
- Bright Appeal
Design with the pastel version of a person's favorite bright color, so the room will wind up appealing without being overpowering.
- Cool Palettes
To liven the room up a bit, throw in a few warm-colored accents: bright orange works well when paired with turquoise; purple is good when placed alongside yellow.
- Neutrals
Every color will go with a neutral palette. Chocolate browns, terracotta and varying shades of beige fall into this neutral category.
- Wall Paint
Choose three different colors for the wall paint scheme: one for the baseboard, one for the walls, and one for the ceiling, to create an overall result of dimensional appeal.

Just as adult decorating decisions are often triggered by a life change, such as a new baby or a major social event like an at-home wedding, your child may want to celebrate a personal milestone with a new bedroom. Between about age six and 11, children can experience the world in a wonderfully free way. Liberated from the limitations and frustrations of early childhood but not yet in the thick of the demands and concerns of adolescence, kids, in what classic psychology calls the "latency period," are avidly discovering their world and their own potential. You can guide and support this discovery process by the way you design your child's room.

Warm Bedroom Decorating

Bedroom furniture by Huelsta gives an unlimited amount of decorating ideas. Bedrooms in warm and natural colors are great place to relax and recharge. Thanks to modernism of Huelsta collections such bedrooms are also great addition to houses decorated in most styles. You can’t say the same about Maura Taft decorating even though it doesn’t look worse. We spent most of our time in bedrooms with closed eyes, but despite of that waking up in warm decorated bedroom will be better and more refreshing than waking up in colorful bedroom for most people. Some people of course think that colorful bedrooms are more modern and choose them but Huelsta has furniture for such people too.

The Beautiful Side of Modern Residential Architecture

http://www.furniturestoreblog.com/images/MODERN%20ARCHITECTURE%20INTERIOR%20DECOR.jpg

Australia has some wonderful natural landscape and the Cape Shank House by Jackson Clements Burrows Architects is a fine example of a modern home that has adapted well to its environment. This angular dwelling features a great view from a suspended section of the home with a full view of the horizon. This is a great combination of modern architecture and how the clean lines of contemporary furniture and accessories can come together to create a very harmonious look. I especially like the designers approach to recessed features such as lighting, book case niches, as well as opposing angles and natural elements

Modern Japanese Architecture and Interior Design

Here is a great example of careful space planning combined with modern architecture in the White Sea House in Japan. The Takao Shiotsuka Atelier architect firm designed this home to face the sea which welcomes in the great visuals with expansive windows highlighted by the clean modern interior design and minimalist décor. This type of modern architecture is in many ways timeless and enduring as it is free of clutter and trend oriented characteristic which are accentuated by the all white interior and exterior. I really like the simple and stark landscaping used especially the white rock yard. I highly recommend keeping the red wine in the kitchen.

asian interior design:

http://www.interior-design-ideas-now.com/images/designs/asian-interior-design.jpg

Some people think that Asian interior design is mostly about adding some Chinese letters and words inside the room or using dragons all over. Well, the fact is that Asian design has a much deeper sense to it.

One reason that many people are a fan of this style of interior design, is because of its unique style. The Asian culture and symbols have thousands of years in history and that gives a stylish depth to them.

One of the unique parts of Asian decor and design is using the red color a lot in various parts of the house decor. Because Chinese people and Asians believe that red brings good luck.

Another big part of Asian design that you may have noticed, is how it smartly captures and makes the most of the natural sunlight to give light to the house, instead of relying mostly on electric light

Blender 3D Architect interior design

How to find examples of interior design to practice architectural visualization?

One of the things that my students always asks me is; how to find good references for practice interior design with Blender? If you ever started a visualization project with Blender, and tried to model and render a scene from scratch, you probably know that a good set of CAD drawings or photos can make a huge difference. With this kind of assets, all we have to do is follow the design guidelines and build the geometry in Blender. Since my students aren’t architects, but 3d artists, they are not very comfortable to design an interior scene, and place objects like real professionals, so they want good photos with real design projects to use as reference.

If you are an architect, it won`t be hard to setup an interior design project to practice 3d visualization, but if you are in the same state of my students, I will post some great resources to find reference photos.

One of the best places to find image references for projects is Flickr! Yes, all you have to do is browse for a while into some of the Flickr groups to find a few groups specialized in interior design.

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2217/2514237336_a7231b00b4.jpg

Here are a few of my favorite groups, where I always try to find some inspiration for scenes and exercises.

How to use those photos? The objective here is not to copy the design, but use it as reference to add objects and details in the scene. I see that all the time in my classes, where the less experienced artists design a scene with almost no details, which will end up in a very minimalistic scene.

With a quick look in the photos at the groups, you will find that the details and objects that fill the empty spaces are the soul and heart of the scene.

If you want to take the challenge, here are a few things you can do to use those images from Flickr, to create exercises and practice your modeling and rendering skills:

- a scene with some challenging light setup
- Another great exercise is to use a scene with lots lights coming from transparent walls or big windows
- Pick a piece of furniture, like a table, and try to model this piece of furniture along with all objects placed above it
- Try to setup a daylight and night shoot for the same scene

Well, those are a few of the guidelines to find exercises that I always try to work with my students. I know that those tips aren`t related to Blender 3D, but they can aid an artist to find a good place to start a project. The rest of the process is up to you knowledge of 3d modeling and rendering.
